Darren Sweeney brings a unique blend of military leadership, financial expertise, and community involvement to his work with clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy and earned his MBA with a concentration in Finance from Strayer University. Darren is a Registered Representative with Osaic Wealth and holds Series 7 and Series 66 registrations, along with Health and Life Insurance licenses.
Before entering the financial services industry, Darren served as an F-14 aviator in the United States Navy, participating in three combat campaigns. His distinguished military career also included serving as a leadership instructor at the United States Naval Academy, where he helped develop future generations of leaders.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Darren is deeply committed to his community. He has dedicated 14 years to coaching youth soccer through the Arundel Soccer Association (ASA) and Baltimore Celtic, helping young athletes build confidence, teamwork, and character both on and off the field.
Darren resides in Odenton, Maryland, with his wife, Tara, and their three children, Katie, Keegan, and Ethan. His experiences in leadership, service, and mentorship continue to shape his client-focused approach and commitment to helping others achieve their goals.
